Quick-Start Guide
Getting Established in Shadowbound RP
Welcome to the city. Below is everything you need to know to get legally set up and avoid fines on your first day.
1. ImperialCAD Registration (Automatic)
Your character and vehicles are automatically registered into ImperialCAD upon creation and purchase.
You do not need to manually register them.
However, you are responsible for ensuring your licenses, registration, and insurance are active.

2. Getting Your Driver’s License
Driving without a valid license is illegal.
To obtain your driver’s license:
Step 1 — Go to the old Crematory in Los Santos (off Strawberry)
• Complete the required driving test
Step 2 — Visit any of the four City Halls
• Select “Check & Issue Licenses” first
• Then open the license menu
• Purchase your driver’s license
Your license must be active before legally operating a vehicle.
3. Vehicle Registration & Insurance
Vehicles are automatically linked to you in CAD when purchased.
However, you must purchase:
• Vehicle Registration
• Vehicle Insurance
These are available at:
Premium Deluxe Motorsport (PDM) in Los Santos
If your vehicle does not have valid registration and insurance, you may be:
• Fined
• Towed
• Impounded
Ensure your documentation remains current.
4. Traffic Stop Expectations
If pulled over, Law Enforcement may check:
• Driver’s License status
• Vehicle Registration
• Vehicle Insurance
• Outstanding warrants or flags
If you are not properly registered or licensed, fines are issued per week of non-compliance.
5. Firearms Registration
Firearms can be registered through ImperialCAD once legally obtained.
Failure to register applicable weapons may result in criminal charges.
6. Recommended First-Day Checklist
• Complete your driver’s test
• Obtain your physical driver’s license at City Hall
• Purchase vehicle registration and insurance at PDM
• Verify your CAD information is accurate
• Introduce yourself and begin building reputation
