Residents of Blaine County may notice things a little quieter out on the trails tonight. According to the Game Warden’s office, a coordinated wildlife management effort was conducted this evening to address growing overpopulation concerns affecting livestock routes, road safety, and local ecosystems.
Hunters were called in to assist under supervision, and the response was swift.
Leading the effort was Jacob Robinson, who accounted for 35 animals, followed by Avery Jackson with 17 animals. Officials say the results exceeded expectations and will have a measurable impact on migration pressure and aggressive wildlife encounters in the region.
