Well now, folks, pull up a chair and pour yourself a glass of sweet tea, because today’s headlines outta Blaine County are hotter than a tailpipe in July.

In today’s news, Dave Chorez — our President, and by the sound of it, soon-to-be former President — was indicted this afternoon following a string of serious charges that have folks all across San Andreas talking. Among the charges named are speeding, reckless endangerment, failure to yield for an emergency vehicle, and reportedly several more that officials say may paint an even bigger picture.
Now, for many longtime residents, this one stings a little extra.

Dave Chorez has been around these parts for a long while. Some folks remember when he turned things around and looked to be walking a straighter line. But now, it seems he’s gone and stepped right back into the same old mess — and people are shaking their heads from Sandy to the city, saying it’s a crying shame.
As expected, the rumors are already flying faster than a bass boat on the Alamo Sea.

Some folks are saying this whole thing smells like a cover-up for something more sinister. Others are calling it some kind of protection act, though right now nobody seems to have a clear answer on what exactly that means or who it’s protecting. One thing’s for sure: around here, when something don’t add up, people notice.
And over on Capitol Hill, senators are already raising hell and calling for impeachment, saying the people of San Andreas deserve accountability at the highest level.

Now, we ain’t here to jump to conclusions before all the facts come out — but we are here to tell it plain: this is a major development, and Blaine County Community News will be keeping a close eye on it as the story unfolds.
Stay tuned, stay safe, and for the love of all things lawful, if you see red and blues in your mirror — pull over.
